Our mission at Instawork is to create economic opportunities for local businesses and professionals, globally. In order to achieve that mission, we have built a team composed of talented and hard-working individuals who are passionate about connecting skilled hourly professionals with local businesses who need their services.
Our Employee Spotlight series takes the opportunity to highlight members of our team and to give a glimpse into our culture and what it's like to work at Instawork. To highlight the diversity of our team, we've asked Jonathan Pujol, Enterprise Account Manager, to share more about his experience working at Instawork.
What do you do at Instawork and how long have you been with the company?
I joined Instawork as an Enterprise Account Manager in 2021.
What initially attracted you to Instawork?
Instawork's mission is something that initially drove me to joining the company. Creating economic opportunities for both partners and professionals globally is not just a catchy one liner, but something we do every day in multiple ways. I truly feel that we make a difference for everyday people and help many companies in achieving their missions.
What's your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is being able to connect with so many different people in different markets and work with great companies doing cool work. I've been a part of things like the Superbowl and providing over 600 professionals for America’s biggest game day to helping Vanderbilt University's huge dining operation and general services.
What is one piece of "work from home" equipment you couldn't live without?
DUAL MONITORS! Being a tech company, we have a large stack of tools we use to work efficiently and working on multiple screens is a game changer.
What's the most important thing you've learned since starting at Instawork?
One of our core values at Instawork is Bias for Action. Although I have always been someone to take action, Instawork thrives on being able to make decisions and act on it quickly. We have an incredible team that listens and takes your voice into consideration. I've learned to be open with ideas I feel can help improve Instawork and on the flip side, be even more receptive to my peers.
In 10 words or less, how would you describe the culture at Instawork?
Fun, inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven.
